The rocks along the Jurassic Coastline span 185 million years of the Earth’s history and it’s one of the best places in the country to find fossils. But you don’t have to have an interest in geology to enjoy the many charms of our location!
Relax, lie back and read a book, cool down by taking a dip in the refreshing sea. You could even try your hand at a spot of sea fishing. Pack a picnic and make a day of it!
Meandering through the Park on its route to the sea is the tranquil River Bride. Set in beautiful surroundings, this quiet stretch of water is perfect for trying out that new dinghy or just sitting by the water’s edge soaking up the sun while the children have fun.
Take to one of the coastal paths leading off our beach and you’ll be rewarded with stunning views along the coastline towards the east and west.
