ACCESS STATEMENT
Welcome to Freshwater Beach Holiday Park.
Here are a few points about the park for those customers with mobility or access concerns.
Freshwater Beach Holiday Park is set in a beautiful valley location; consequently there is a steep entrance to the park.
There is a telephone box at the bottom of the hill to enable guests to contact taxi companies if required. However, if guests are able to walk up our hill then there is a local bus that can be flagged down at your request.
Copies of the bus timetable are available at reception.
We have a parking area for our guests within easy reach of all our facilities.
For guests visiting our main Entertainment Complex, there is easy access to the Main Bar and Hall, however, both the Pebbles Restaurant and the Cellar Bar have steps leading to them. We offer our guests table service in the Pebbles Restaurant.
A menu is available in the Main Bar for guests who are unable to access either the Pebbles Restaurant or the Cellar Bar.
If our guests require some support to get into their accommodation we can organise this. We do however ask that this be requested upon booking your holiday.
All our showering facilities have a level access as well as disabled toilets situated throughout the park. These toilets can be found in the main complex, and two shower blocks in the touring and tent field.
Our park consists of three areas: static caravans, touring and camping.
We have several caravans which when required can have a ramp fitted for wheel chair access, although these are not caravans specifically manufactured for disabled access.
Assistance dogs are very welcome at Freshwater. We have an allocated dog walking area where dogs can roam free, but whilst on the park they must be kept on a lead at all times.
Assistance dogs are only permitted in specific dog caravans due to some customers being allergic to animals.
We have a good signal for the Vodafone network, but other networks have a very poor reception.
Wheelchairs are available for hire from our shop. Please ask in reception or the shop for further details.
Freshwater staff are trained in house, to support our guests whatever their needs may be.
